Workshop Ready is a live, practical programme for makers that helps you turn what you know into a clear, properly priced workshop that is ready to promote and deliver, with guidance from me and implementation time at every stage.

You can see the possibility.
People already ask how you make things, where you learned a particular technique or whether you could show them how to do it.
When you've been practising your craft for years, it is easy to overlook how much you know. The techniques, choices and small ways of solving problems that now feel obvious to you may be exactly what somebody else needs help with.
You don't need to know everything or be the greatest expert in your field. You need to be far enough ahead to guide a particular person towards a clear result, and thoughtful enough to create a well-planned experience around it.
Workshop Ready helps you take the idea off your “one day” list and start making those decisions in the right order.

Selling handmade products can be satisfying, but it also creates a very real ceiling when every sale requires another finished item and more income usually means more making, more packing and more of your time and energy.
A workshop offers another possibility.
Instead of making a separate product for each customer, several people can pay for your knowledge, guidance and support during the same block of time.
That doesn't mean you need to stop selling the things you make. Nor does it mean workshops are effortless income. They still need to be thoughtfully planned, properly priced, clearly promoted and delivered well.
But they can give your existing skills and experience another way to earn, and help you build a business that does not depend entirely on how much you can physically produce.
The knowledge is already there. The next step is turning it into a workshop that works for your participants and makes commercial sense for you.

With my live support, you'll work towards having:
This is not a course to watch and put aside.
You’ll learn what you need, apply it to your own workshop and receive live guidance as you turn your idea into something people can book.

Workshop Ready includes five live two-hour sessions across two weeks.
During the first hour of each session, I’ll teach the next part of the workshop-building process.
During the second hour, you’ll apply it to your own workshop while I remain on the call to answer questions, offer guidance and help you keep moving.
You won’t finish a lesson wondering when you’ll find the time to use it. Implementation is built into the programme.

Identify the skill, process or experience you could teach. You’ll shape it into a focused idea for a particular participant, with a clear and achievable outcome..

Create a realistic structure for the workshop, including activities, demonstrations, timings, materials and preparation. You’ll also consider how to support different confidence levels and working speeds.

Calculate what your workshop genuinely needs to cost using your own figures. You’ll consider materials, preparation, delivery time, venue costs, capacity and the income the workshop needs to generate.

Develop a clear title and description, and decide what potential participants need to know. You’ll also create a practical plan to promote the workshop and guide people towards booking.

Think through the complete experience, from preparing the room and welcoming participants to managing timings, demonstrations and different support needs on the day.
By the end, you’ll have worked through the complete workshop journey: what you’ll teach, who it is for, how it will work, what it needs to cost, how people will find it and how you’ll deliver it.
You’ll receive the full programme details before doors open, so you can decide whether it is the right next step for you.
